We know our clients prefer to have their installation on the calendar immediately. However, with a custom-designed landscape lighting system, some lights have to be ordered. Our team will order your lights as soon as you sign the contract.
While we used to be able to count on precise lead times for shipping, supply chain challenges are impacting our industry too. With constantly changing product or shipping delays, we won’t schedule your installation day until all of your lights are in our hands.
Once we have all of your lights in our office and ready to go, we will call you to put your installation day(s) on the calendar. This process is first-come, first-serve, so when the product arrives, we get you scheduled at the earliest available date that fits ours and your schedule. Due to increased demand for home improvement services, there will be varying lead times for this installation day.
Weather
The Wilmington area is blessed to have mostly moderate weather patterns. However, depending on the time of year, a stretch of rain or storms can throw a wrench in our schedule. If we have a weather delay, we will call you as soon as we know, to reschedule your installation at a later date.
Landscape Lighting Installation Day(s)
On installation day, our crew will arrive with your lights and all the supplies needed to get the job done. Depending on the size of your system, installation may take multiple days. We try to put these days all together as much as humanly possible.
We can install the system most of the time without homeowners being home. We prefer someone is there when we arrive, but you can go about your day as usual.
Our team will install your lights as specified, burying wire, mounting your transformer, and connecting everything. We turn your system on and make sure everything is on the up and up before we go. Our team of consummate professionals will tidy up before going, leaving your property in as good or better shape than the way we found it.
Ongoing Outdoor Lighting Support & Service
After completion, our team will conduct a nighttime adjustment. This adjustment usually takes place within a week of installation. While our lighting experts complete your installation to the exact specification of the design, daytime installs only gets it 99.9% there. That extra .1% requires a nighttime viewing of the final design, accompanied by slight adjustments to perfect the final scene.
