In September, Outdoor Lighting Perspectives will be presenting a “green” idea to the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
Recently, more and more cities have been setting up “night sky ordinances” to regulate the amount of outdoor light used at night. The basic goal is to give astronomers, as well as regular citizens, the ability to see stars after sundown.
The presentation will show the ASLA how lighting design can efficiently illuminate the area while complying with these ordinances.
