A Gift for the Giver - Mother's Day

Well, its officially May. You know what that means – showers are leaving, flowers are springing, school kids are restless, and summer is right around the corner. But first (and foremost) comes Mother’s Day.

Allow me to wax philosophic for a moment, but I really like the quote above. It humbly captures the essence of motherhood – sacrificial love. From the pains of childbearing to free babysitting (and everything in between), good mothers love and sacrifice much for their children. We all owe quite a debt to our mothers, grandmothers, and even mother-in-laws. They have given so much for us, and it is entirely appropriate to set aside a day where we show our thanks in return.
